Step 1: Prepare the Wooden Boards
- Cut two wooden boards to your desired size. Smooth the edges with sandpaper.
- Drill a hole in each corner of both boards, ensuring they align perfectly.
Step 2: Assemble the Press
- Place one wooden board on a flat surface.
- Layer a sheet of blotting paper, a piece of cardboard, and another blotting paper sheet.
- Arrange flowers or leaves in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
- Add another sheet of blotting paper, cardboard, and repeat if desired.
- Place the second wooden board on top.
Step 3: Secure the Press
- Insert the bolts through the drilled holes in each corner.
- Secure with wingnuts and tighten evenly to apply pressure.
- Store in a dry, warm place for 2-4 weeks until flowers are fully pressed.
